Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions on the Dokk On Call platform ("Service"), operated by Dokk (Pty) Ltd. All payments are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) via Paystack.
1. Free Plan
Dokk On Call offers a free plan with no payment required. If you are on the free plan, this policy does not apply to you.
2. Subscription Billing
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account's billing settings.
3. Cancellation
- When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods after cancellation.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
We will issue a full refund if:
- You were charged in error — e.g. a duplicate charge or a charge after you had already cancelled.
- Service unavailability — if the Service was substantially unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours) during your billing period due to issues on our end.
- Within 7 days of first payment — if you subscribed to a paid plan and request a refund within 7 days of your first payment, we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@dokk.app with:
- Your account email address.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- The reason for your refund request.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Paystack and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
6. Consumer Protection Act
This Refund Policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the CPA, please contact us and we will address your request in accordance with the Act.
